Working With Ennex

Copyright © 2003, Ennex Corp.. All rights reserved.

Ennex Corporation currently has a number of projects that may be of interest for others to get involved in. In addition, we are open to looking at interesting outside projects to get involved in. If you find what you see here interesting, come and talk to us. You can contact Marshall Burns directly at (805) 882-2300 or Contact e-address. Some current projects to consider include:

  • Digital Fabrication. Ennex is a leading source of expertise on fabbers and digital manufacturing technologies, applications, and markets. For examples of projects conducted and a list of clients, see Expertise in Fabbers and Digital and Manufacturers

  • New technology ventures. Marshall Burns has thirty years of experience in developing advanced technology concepts. He has learned the hard lessons the hard way, supplementing his physics PhD with a street MBA. If you are launching a new technology venture, either as an independent start-up or within a larger organization, be sure to talk to Marshall about your toughest challenges.

  • Offset Fabbing. This is a technology that has been developed by Ennex Corporation to the extent of a working prototype and partial completion of a production prototype. It is a digital fabrication technology that produces solid objects from a digital design and raw material in the form of an adhesive film. It has specific advantages over other DigiFab technologies in terms speed, process simplicity, material versatility, and others. It is not the best choice where fine detail or resolution is needed. Ennex is interested in discussing licensing opportunities with qualifed manufacturers. Please see our Offset Fabbing page for more information.

  • Fabbers.com. Ennex has a decade of experience in digital fabrication technologies, applications, and markets. In that time, Marshall Burns wrote a book and many articles on this nacsent industry and where it is going. Originally, Ennex.com was set up as a Web site for this digital fabrication business and a good deal of industry information was provided as a public service. This content has now been separated into its own site, fabbers.com (still hosted on the Ennex server). There is an opportunity here, but we are still evaluating how to exploit it, and whether it is worth the effort. We are open to working with providers of portal tools and content in developing our strategy with this property.
